Arm/Hinge Pin difference?

Why are there two part numbers for the outer hinge pin for the rear arms? Part # 7357 or 6381.

do they make unobtanium pins? maybe one is standard, one is unobtanium?

isn't one for a buggy (6xxx) and the other for a truck (7xxx)? they are different.

One pin might be for the older rear A-arm, then I think with the world's type a -arm the pin was longer( might be the same for truck ) due to more material added on the arm :?:

it's an early/late deal. the arm number is different too. early arms used buggy pins........ that's what i get from it.

The original arms used a shorter pin, and the wheelbase was not adjustable. The later flat arms have a spacer that allows the hub to be moved fore or aft to change wheelbase and thus a longer pin. This is going off the top of my head

ya, that's the buggy pin (6xxx - i mixed them up above). the early truck arms used the shorter pin (7xxx), same as the rpm worlds/dynotech klein arms.

Trucks always had adjustable wheelbase, I'm pretty sure your talking buggy...but just to avoid confusion :P

:oops: I think my eye sight is going, I had to squint to see it, the arrow pointing to the e-clip became one with the clip
