SC10B front arms and back compatibility with SC10/T4.2 arms

Hi all, first post on this forum.....

Anyway, I have ended up with a SC10B from a work mate with a broken front arm. He bought it from our shop a few months ago and proceeded to turn it partially into a canoe after 8 batteries on his front yard track. Well, we have not been able to obtain spares through the local distributor, and a quick search seems that these items, 91201, are out of stock globally. So, I ended up with this for next to nix.

While I'm waiting for Æ to get their act together, I have ordered a full set of RPM lowers to suit T4/old SC10. I figure if they don't fit I won't have a hard time finding a new owner for them. So while I am waiting for that slow boat from China, literally, can anyone confirm if the old and new front lowers are interchangeable? I know the lower shock locations are different, but length, and fit etc...

Thanks muchly...

the rear arms are a direct swap, the fronts are straight, not gull winged, so the "new" front tower on the SCB takes that into account and is lower/shorter than the T4/SC10. They will work, but your front end will be really high & possibly not compress all the way.

crazy you cant get sc10b arms.. i think sc10b arms are the new arms for all team trucks (t4.2 and sc10.2).

Thanks JK. I was expecting ride height issues, I was just concerned for the bulkhead and C spacing, hinge pins, etc.

I might look at modding the RPM units to a pass through design and mount them upside down. That should come out similar.

And yes, longboard. A month or so ago I was like "Jeff, don't sweat it. When the T4.2 is released parts will be everywhere" Also surprised RPM hasn't capitolised on it....

Update on this: I haven't butchered my RPM parts yet, as the importer here reckons they will have the genuine parts in this week.... We will see.
