Looking for very dark gunmetal / not quite black

I have seen medium shade greys and gunmetal colours. I have also seen lots of plain jet blacks. But is there a lexan paint shade which is in between? Closer to black than grey (maybe 80% towards black) and ideally metallic. Just an off the shelf rattle can please.

Thanks!

You could maybe back up window tinting with another color. I'm not sure what would be the best choice though. Maybe a more experienced painter could suggest how to back it, or a better color altogether.

I have used metallic black lexan paint before. You could do a light coat or two of metallic black, and then back it with silver to get the shade you are looking for maybe?

how about that color?

I just mix silver and black to get a gunmetal color.

I don't recommend this. I tried window tinting from Pactra and that stuff was absolute sh!t. At least the rattle-can I had, something was very wrong with the formulation--or maybe it's normal that 2 minutes after you spray it on a perfectly clean body, it collects in small dot-like pips everywhere. I even tried spraying it INSIDE a plastic bag so there was zero chance of this being caused by floating dust motes, but again--within a few minutes, I saw it dry in dozens of little pips. I also don't think the tint is intended to have a backing coat as it's supposed to be transparent.

Thanks for the suggestions. But I have also had poor experiences with window tints. Also I do not wish to mix colours as it will not be perfect. If there is no off the shelf solution I'll have to pay a pro air brusher, who will no doubt blend something before spraying. Or have a rethink!
