New to the forum. Just getting back into RC cars my son just turned thirteen. He built a new tamya mad bull and loved building it.We picked up a few used cars one being an RC10.Hoping to fix it up. In my research I found this site. Seams to be a wealth of knowledge here.

From doing some research on-line, I believe that my car is a first edition Edinger. Here is a photo that shows one of the 7rib Goodyear Tires.

Now the fun part

My son and I are getting it ready and hope to take it out in the yard for spin, for the first time (since we've had it) in the next half hour or so

There are a couple of used front sets on ebay. Just do a search for RC10 front arms. Should be able to pick up a used set for a decent price.

Wow, nice first car - too nice to be a runner though! I would love to have those front tires and spring cups

"too nice to be a runner"? It jumps a lot better than the kyosho....though my son, doesn't like it & calls it the geriatric car

No, I know that some of the parts on this, make it a first edition & maybe we shouldn't be playing with it, like we do. But, we are working with what we have and trying to get enough cars for my son & I & his 3 best buddies, to have cars to run. This came with a big batch of used parts that I was able to pick up at a reasonable price.

I've lightly run all my old cars but I wouldn't really consider them runners, my B3 and T3 are the real runners. My graphite Stealth gets the most runtime among the the older cars I have. With that said I have to agree with RC104ever, if I owned an edinger I wouldn't run it just restore and shelf it. Tons of RC10's go for cheap, I remember I bought my a-stamp cadilac for around 100 bucks. Just my 2 cents.
