Hi curious what is the way to go for a 12l steering set up, i like to use Associates blue 4-40 titanium rods, but what is the best way to hook them up too the axle arms.I bought some dubro heavy duty ball links and thay seem like they will have no room to put the wheel back on.Do not really like to put the piano wire back on this resto.

A 12i built period correct with modern parts could use DuBro 2-56 ball joints and threaded 2-56 rod or turnbuckles. It would be close to vintage, better than piano wire, and readily available.

DuBro 181 ball joint (need 4)
DuBro 2158 2-56 turnbuckle (discontinued but seems to be available online)

I was going thru some spare parts the other day, and I came across an Associated front steering linkage kit with 2-56 ball joints, let me look next week and find out the part number, maybe it's what you are looking for...

Before I completely hijack your thread, I will say that most 1/12 AE pan cars came with wire and collar linkage.

Your sponsorship certainly helped fund my transition to lipo. Thank YOU!
