question about box rc10 car

did anyone on here ever replicate the steering like the rc10 on the box hard to tell how they did the main link for the steering.
Also what is the servo and receiver.

a piece of piano wire and two of those collars with the set screws.

2 90 degree bends, bring it up from the bottom, add 2 collars.

the bel crank is pretty much the same thing just shorter
i have also seen it as justa single wire with no collar
