Got this Spectron 1/12 car now, one of the rare Lexancars made in England from around 1979. It is a first generation Lexan car before the U-shape cars as Schumacher XL, Gemini SLX or Phantom. Based on a flat Lexan chassis with Mardave frontend and early Schumacher diff, front wheels unknown brand. Batteries are saddlepack and mounted directly to chassis using zip ties. Motor is a Jerobee Igarashi and the ESC is their own Smoothtronic ESC.
For some reason the spur gear is located on the "wrong" side of the car, but also found at a few other cars. Body is a Ligier Maserati of unknown brand, ABS hard plastic not Lexan.

Yes indeed. :D
Actually I like pancars in general, but my main interest is Lexan cars, other cars made in England and of course Delta.
But I think it´s important showing whatever car you found or got so everybody can see the exciting cars of the past and maybe learn something new.

I've seen one of these somewhere before. I'm not sure if it was on ebay or in a magazine, but it's definately cool :)

Are the pod plates plastic or metal? It almost looks like they are similar to early Mardave Ministox, but flipped to the opposite side.
