I'm currently tinkering with trying a Losi Hydradrive on my RC10 however I'm not sure if the conversion should use the original stealth slipper backplate or the Losi 3132 one. Annoyingly I have the losi hydra unit, most of the losi slipper unit and the 'Dirt Burners ' Adapter shaft for the Stealth gearbox but am missing the losi back slipper.

Oddly the Dirt Burner shaft does not have the pin hole that the Stealth slipper back plate attaches to? Is the slipper backplate meant to be free running on the shaft on the hydra set up?

You use the losi slipper plate, instead of a pin like associated they lock to the double flattened shaft. I don't have the number handy but it is standard losi

It depends on the stealth hydradrive shaft you have. Most shafts have the pins, so you use the stealth backer plate. I do have a few light weight ones and newer knock off's that don't have the pins, then I used the losi plate. Either one works fine. There are stealth hydra-drive directions online if you search, if you can't find them I have an original directions from one of my kits I can scan.

Hi, thanks. I've used the Losi one with a Thorp shaft. Raced it on a typically retro outdoor uk track (dust/dirt/grass/bumpy) and it worked very well. I was able to get the power down so much smoother and easier than the modern cars around me. Has made me pick up a Double XX too for another vintage 2wd option.
