Team car (tub) build

For those of you who know me and my taste in cars and trucks, I prefer builds strictly stock (not to say that custom builds are without their own rewards, some very nice examples have been shown in this fine forum.)
So without any exception to the rule, here is my latest build. A later 6035 team car. Pics of parts for now, build up pics to follow as progress continues. Parts are in the state that I prefer best, NIP, new removed from kit or removed from shelfer. I took my time building the parts up, about a year. Still waiting on one or two, should be here within a week.
Also did some research on what should be correct on rolling changes, as some PMs have been sent over that last little while  . I have opted for a later C stamped white/black version, mainly do the fact that I could not source a straight back nose plate for an earlier version that I was attempting to build, (still, parts have been put away for that one just in case). 8)
A special thanks go out to Brian, Reg, Eddie and Ron on being very patient with my ever-growing needs and questions on helping me get this build done.
C stamped chassis, World's nose plate, white rear World's bulk head front aluminum in-line axles, 73/23 tire combo, graphite tranny brace, black front and rear A arms are what the key parts to what I believe to be correct for a successful build. The 6196 decal sheet might be too late for this but until I can source the correct earlier version it will do for now.
-ENJOY-

Sweet! Looks like fun!

Shouldn't need the suicide cables for a team car

I just threw them in the box, I assumed all cars/trucks came with them.

Just got started. Showing chassis pics first. It's not the easiest thing to open NIP parts.

Actually it is you just need a sharp pair of scissors and they will cut right through the plastic!

Nice and patient collection of parts there! Was the Team Car ever released with a World's kick up and black rear arms though? The late versions maybe?

From what my research has come up with ,yes. The set up that I'm using, ( worlds kick up, world's rear bulk head, black arms, graphite tranny brace, C stamp chassis, etc, would be the very last set up like this before using all black parts.
Had I found a standard nose plate, I would have used my late B stamp chassis, all white parts, standard tranny brace. Not sure about the rear bulk head for that set up, but, most likely I still would have used a worlds style rear bulk head, as I would have used white raised X rear a arms. I'm sure at that point when this version of car came out (92-93?) anything might have been possible, but I'm no expert...................many PM's were sent 8)

Question, (build is on hold) because I'm using a C stamp chassis, worlds nose, would all parts need to be black ( because of that nose plate?)

Personally, I have yet to see a NIB Team Car or a new built one with World's rear bulkhead, front kick up and black arms...

Change of plans, Rethinking this build. I may go with a B stamp, standard nose, all white standard parts.
