Picked this up a while back thinking it would make a good project. The chassis was near perfect so I didn't do anything besides strip and anno it gold. The parts were painted black, i stripped them and dyed them properly. Very happy with the color combo, just need a couple little bits to wrap this one up.

Love it! To bad it's not a Dudgeon, It's a later A-Main conversion.

Still designed by Kunio, sold under the A-Main name, same as his earlier electric conversions. Tomato tomato

Looks good Jeff, is there any special anno procedure on parts that get heat, such as pipe, and head, or the temp's aren't high enough to do damage.

That's a good question! I have seen the old MIP heads start out purple and fade in color over time. Hmmm

The truck turned out really nice!

I have a purple MIP stinger pipe on my GT. So far only the manifold faded in color but the pipe looks fine and that’s after running several gallons of fuel. My guess is the much lighter gold anodizing should hold up reasonably well.

In all fairness too the MIP heads that I have seen faded were ran hard and put away...with nitro in em. I saw a video on removing anno color before and they did it with a small torch  oh look....here is the link

Well, this is as far as I'm going with her. I finally cleaned up the tires and bolted em on, new air filter and off she goes. A good friend of mine just offered to buy her. This was a fun build. It's nice when the parts aren't a challenge to find

Looks good. At a glance I would think Kyosho though by the color. Has that odd gold to it

I had some caps done in the same gold, but I didn't like it. With bodies too it would have looked great
