I must admit I'm very disappointed in that. When Bug Box built the Scorcher they went to a lot of trouble to source the exact parts needed to replicate the original in full size. This just looks like they've got a modern buggy, stuck a wing on the back and given it a coat of paint. Even tacking on a pair of side box sections to replicate the Protech shell would look better, but all we've got is a black painted square and the AE and Reedy Modifieds logos squashed to give an impression of it. If I had that project the first thing I would have done is cut the chassis in front of the cab and add a couple of feet of chassis tube to at least get the proportions nearer.

I can only hope they are planning on racing it rather than it just being a show vehicle as there's no other reason for it to be so different to the original.

Looking at the side profile maybe they are going to be rereleasing the RC10 with a new cab forward body.

i think it's cool, they should race it. maybe they will in the lucas series.

Definitely not an accurate representaion of the original. However I think it would be cool if the new buggy turned out looking something like this.
