I need some JPS help please.

Post by Synergy »

OK who up for helping me out :D ,

I need another set of JPS alloys as shown here on my Tekin, I should have ordered two sets at the time  . The problem I have is after nearly six months of waiting for my last order I ended up in quite a battle with these chaps which ended up finishing on pretty bad terms. Would someone be prepared to oder a set for me please :?:

I will obviously cover all associated costs.

As ebay is your home Timbo, just remember google is your friend!

http://www.jpspro.com is the home of JPS and they make/made many vintage alloy wheels.

However they are a little hard to get hold of and they ship very slowly.

I am getting serious deja vu here and need to sit down.

Have you been in my house while I've been at work purpletimbo

It's a Mardave Meteor and a PB Mini Mustang I think.

Can't recognize the wheels from your pics though you need to get your flash/light settings right.

Cheers

You might try using a JPS distributor, you'll probably get better and faster service. Try http://www.rc4wdstore.com/ This is a well known company on Clodtalk and one that carries JPS products. If they don't have what you need specifically, ask and they can probably get it. As far as I know the guy has a good reputation, I've never purchased from him so I can't speak from personal experience. 8)

I have had long disscussions with Paul at JPS. He is a good guy, just really slow on getting stuff shipped out. The last set I bought took several months to get.

I don't think you'll get anything from RC4WD that was made byJPS. I guess RC4WD had ordered a bunch stuff to be made by JPS then neglected to pick it or pay for it.

Thanks for the offer Tim, I was hoping that someone from the US would step up :( , with it being a US company it will be easier for someone there to sort it, time difference etc.

I heard some scuttlebutt that Hua had some stuff going on. I know that Keeper (over on CT) bought a JPS chassis from JPS that had some issues that Paul either refused to take care of, or was painfully slow getting to. Keeper contacted Hua and got replacements very quickly. There's been other stories like this on CT, though I will admit there's been a couple less than glowing reports as well.

I'm a little disappointed, 115 views and only one offer of assistance from a member on my side of the pond :(

who have I upset then, I didn't think this was an unreasonable request for help or is it just no one wants to get involved with JPS :?:
