Does anyone know if the Bandit big bore shocks would fit decently well on a Team Car/CE setup? Would you need extra long screws/spacers?
Having a hard time finding the lengths so curious if anyone has tried it.
Thanks

I'm not really familiar with the Traxxas models, might be the same thing...

those aren't real big bore shocks. they take stock springs, for traxxas models. there's no telling what the spring rate are either.
if you are looking for cheap big bores the only ones i know of are the atomik shocks. $24 bux per pair. the fronts may be a bit too long for a stock ce front tower though.

I've heard really good things about the Traxxas big bores (even tho I know they aren't true big bores) so I'm gonna gamble and see how they work.
Plus, my scheme calls for black shocks
In case anyone's curious I went to a store and measured each shock eye to eye.
Rear shock - just about exactly 4 inches
Front shock - just under 3.5 inches
I think the original rc10 CE / Team Car shocks were rear 3.58 inches and front 2.74 inches. I think I am planning to use the 10T front end/tower, so hopefully that works. I think the rears are close enough for jazz with some spacer/spring/oil work.
