Is there a way to use gift cards on Paypal?

Only if it ia a Green Dot card. I called paypal awhile back about a Vanilla card, they stated they dont allow any prepaids but the Green Dot card.

i used to use gift cards via paypal all the time, you just add it as a credit card.
but recently i have found that while they let you add it and it confirms some cards won't authorized a pay pal payment.
bummer because i get alot of gift cards through a promotion at work.
