Hidden treasure.

I found an auction on Ebay the weekend before last. I noticed a little hidden treasure within the auction that I had been wanting for quite sometime. I was hoping I could get it cheap and quickly before others seen it as well. I emailed the seller and made him an offer on the auction. I normally do not do this as I hate it when I am watching something and someone ends up talking the seller into ending the auction early. But I was overcome with what I had seen in the auction. I did not hear anything back from the seller, and the auction attained two bids over night. Then on Sunday without notice the seller ended the auction. I was kind of bummed that he had ended it and was just about to delete the auction from my ended Items list when that little voice inside my head said: Don't do it! So I waited. Something told me this auction was going to be re-listed with a Buy It Now. So I began checking the auction every 5 minutes. Then all of a sudden I refreshed the page and the link was there, the item had been re-listed. I clicked on the link, and once the page loaded I almost had a heart attack. $250.00 Buy It Now! I clicked the BIN button and purchased it! And Today it Arrived! Here's the auction Click Here

Funny though, the title said quite specifically that the auction contained an RC10 and come to find out the only RC10 parts within the auction were a really nice gold chassis tub, some rear wheels, and a beat Protech body! The buggy actually turned out to be a MRP Pro 110 in decent shape! But check out the hidden treasure!

Woa, hella good score. I just saw a mint used Bruiser run into the 4-digit mark not that long ago. Nice job!

I always liked that McAllister Toyota pickup body that was in this auction, too. Brings me back to 1983 and the first (and last) time I painted a Lexan body with Testors model paints. :)

Deal. Of. The. Century. Period.

I can't believe it. You better not ever play the lotto, cause all you're luck just got used up.
