Hit this by mistake.

Maybe it will come in handy for the gas guys, if it's close enough to what you're looking for :). Runner or shelf queen, either way.

It sure does! Funny, I have seen that truck so many times and it never even occurred to me. Of coarse it is out of stock though.

Willing to bet side by side they would look quite different.

Then again the more I look the closer they do look alike

Just for visual comparison, they're pretty close.

As a 'GT-clone' it shoudl ahve the same wheelbase and fit nicely on a T2?

I don't see any difference. I hope tower is going to get these back in stock. :!:

The rear shock tower might be a problem.

I ordered a couple of these today. I will do a side by side comparison with an original when I get them.

Front hood "bulge" are different heights by a fair margin.. front shock tower clearance may be an issue?

I'm not sure, but I think that is just an illusion in the pic. The bulge looks too tall in the first pic, which is the associated body, but it looks right in the second pic, which is the tower body. If it is different its not much. Should be able to adjust for it. I have spent quite a bit of time mulling over pics of these two bodies, and at this point I am pretty confident that the are identical, at least in appearance. It will be interesting to see if the tower body is 3% smaller than the associated body Lol....

The only noticeable difference at first glance, at least to me, would be the square box's right behind the roll bar. AE's is of a more refined square vs. the knock off (which looks to be very well done) is just a square block.

RC10GT lovers rejoice! :D

I received my bodies today, there are a couple very minor differences in the fine detail, but this its the same body! I believe this is from the original #6131 mold! There is no shrinkage. I will go into more detail, and try to get some pics posted tonight.

For now I would strongly recommend that anyone that wants one order one (or two or three...) right away. Looks like tower is not selling the st15 anymore, and some parts are already discontinued. These bodies could be on the chopping block soon, and when word gets out about this they could go fast. I just ordered a few more for myself.

Here are some pics. The tower body (with overspray film) next to an original associated 6131 from a kit.
