First i had to say is that it's not a resto project.
When i started racing in 90's i got a RC10 team car issue that i really loved, but i was dreaming of something else... so about 20years after i started to do build this car:

- first of all, find a cheap starting base:

i found this truggy built, probably from a TeamCar issue, it's in really poor condition, so alot of work to come...

- next to come , the back bone of the project, the chassis and arms (andy's ones)

Image

i found those on the bay for a moderate price, which it's not easy :)
next step to come disassembling all and see what will missing.

contact rpm, they might still have some black rear motor guards if you dont have one for the car. you'll have to pay them directly as they dont have any official means of selling them on the website available.

Thank's for the info.
I already got one, homemade; but i will order some to rpm (maybe for other projects, or for this one if the anodization is not cute)
order directly, specialy when you're located in EU, is pretty complicated ... it's remind me the early 90's (pre-internet age) :)
but i will do it, the rpm customer support is so cool that i can't do my lazzy boy.

Updated with the electronic, and some little mod:
RPM front bumper and motor guard
Andy's front steering blocks, for a wider front width (still missing spacers)
also have to put an antenna tube and a NiCd pack.

and for the fun ... a 25 years gap :)

Too hot for a training today (27°C at 7am) :) .
So have a little more work on my RC10...

Race prep. shocks towers and chassis (still a little work on the chassis)

Front axles spacers are on the way, still have to finish the receiver implantation and the damn forgotten chassis edge polishing.
And it will be OK for it (can't say finished  )
Maybe a kimbrough servo-saver in place of the gentle tamiya one...

Really nice looking ride. I really need to add a graphite car to my collection.
