LOL - ha ha ha... I will need to fix that. Seriously, this is how bad it was... You know those plastic "tags", used to mold the plastic pieces? Those were used as the front hinge pins! The Diff didn't work at all... No balls installed. Still trying to fix

i've seen those plastic rods from the front arms used as hinge pins already, too.

Nice find! I've got a similar car, also unused, also badly assembled, that I got in a lot a couple years ago. Not quite as clean as yours, couple minor scratches on the tub from being thrown in a box with another car. I'm missing the body and wing, and mine came with a DS Spec motor instead of the Mach 1.
If you don't mind my asking, how much did you pay for it?

I paid $250 for everything, including a new Airtronics radio. Probably overpaid.

Not sure what the big secret is?
This has been posted in the 25 Year thread for quite a while now:
"The Late Black Stealth RC10CE
This was the very last production of the gold pan and was made even during the RC10B2 production run! The late CE has a C stamp chassis. It shared many upgraded parts from the Worlds Car and even the T2 and B2.
Worlds car parts included the rear arms, new short eared rear bulkhead, stronger black impregnated composite plastic front arms. New black plastic all around on the very late CE. T2/B2 shock collars, upper and lower spring retainers, updated RCPS style turnbuckles. This version could also be found with a mix of white and black parts and even the
Viper body instead of the Protech II. "

Ok now I "understand" the avitar...
I had one of these black CEs last year, I put RC carbon works shock towers on it as it didn't have towers when I got it. It looked sharp and did pretty well on ebay as a roller. I think it's in my rescue thread in the Gallery.
, it's still one of my favorite versions
