I've seen that done before to widen the track...it certainly works, but looks like crap with the wheels on inside-out.

I wonder, though, at which point does a car's width increasing too much relative to wheelbase negatively affect handling? There's a sweet spot in there for sure where too much or not enough either way will have a negative effect.

A little update -
Cleaned and on it´s way to be reassembled.

One question, Is it still possible to buy the alloy shockcap for the cohering ae shocks?

The loose tire is just for actual size reference

Thanks

I thinks its Steve Haskins at Penguin.... he's just repro'd a shell for me for a Mardave buggy I have 8) A very helpfull guy but i don't think he does a YZ-10 shell :| Ken (Cobra) does do one but I must admit, although its very useable (made from nice thick lexan) & would freshen-up any tired Yokomo, the crispness & flatness of the moulding is not on a par with the MrLexan shells, which, I would suggest are nearly/as good as the original items.

P.S; Project looks great BTW - but I would suggest those reversed wheels would play havoc with the handling - look how far the king-pins are from the c.l of the wheels!

Yes it's Steve.you are right.

Mr lexans shells seem to have limited availability...though I'm not sure if he chucks them out at request?
