I am pulling my hair out with this thing...It has a neutral and speed adjustment...Novak Solid state speed control is what it says on the case...I can not get the throttle to work at all...I have steering...The only time the motor will spin is when I turn the esc on and off...And it only spins for a second or 2...I have messed with the adjustments on the radio (KO PROPO EX-5) and I messed with the neutral and speed on the esc and still nothing...Only when I turn the esc off and on is when the motor will spin for a second...What gives ????

Plug esc into channel 1 and the servo into channel 2. See if you can get the esc to work with the steering wheel and see if the throttle trigger works the steering servo. If you still don't have control you may have a bad esc. If the steering servo quits working you have a bad receiver. If both work, you probably had the esc plugged into the wrong channel (bat?)

Esc plugged into channel one will spin the motor...servo into channel 2 will turn the wheels using the throttle...I can't stop the motor from spinning unless I unplug it...

Thanks for the help...I put the servo in channel 1 and esc in 2 and had to open the esc up because I couldn't get the tool to line up with the speed adjuster...After opening the esc up and adjusting the neutral and speed everything is working...Bad thing is if I have to adjust the esc I will always have to open the case up...

We are both stuck in the age of AM TX  If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

FYI Futaba JR low and high throttle ATV pots should be set to 10 (max) before dialing in Novak speed controls. Use the throttle trim for neutral/brakes.
