If any of my old esc ever die can I still send them back to be fixed...Obviously there will be no warranty...Just wondering if they will still work on the old stuff ???

I've never really thought about it, but I'd be curious to know the answer as well. Maybe we should contact them just to see. I'm running thru how many clicks I'd need to go thru to do just that and weighing whether or not it's worth it... Maybe tomorrow. I would like to know though.

if you think its a basic problem try an electronics repair shop .. look for a old school one .. they know how to repair not to just replace parts

A lot of companies will just offer you a discount on a new replacement, now the ESCs are all built by machine it's cheaper to replace it with new than actually repair an old one.

Over here in the UK we have Derek Bailey. he is an electronics engineer who has been offering a repair service for all r/c electronics since the 80s. Way back in the 80s you could even send an ESC off to him to have the fets replaced with higher rated ones. He's so good that if you need KO equipment repairing, rather than having their own repair facility the importers tell you to contact him instead. :D

A lot of the old electronics, before smt components, are not that complicated for a decent electronics repair engineer.
