Here is a chassis I have been working on, came to a standstill when I tried to mount my Parma shocks, the front shocks are too long.
Had a talk with Lars, seems I need to make taller shock mounts for the Parma's as he did with his Parma Scorpion.
Think I will end up using Optima shocks instead, and save the Parma's for another build.

Here is a list of the parts used in this build so far.
MRP Complete Front End including Front Shock Mounts.
Thorp Diff
CRP Motor Mount
CRP CVD's
CRP Counter Gear
CRP Rear Suspension Plates
CRP Trailing Arm Pivots
CRP Rear Shock Tower (Reproduction by GOMACHV) excellent work by the way!
CRP Rear Skid Plate
Pro-Line Rear Arms (these will get changed out with MRP Rears)
Dwaynes Rear Cage
RCH Front Anti Roll Bar
More to come!

I like how that is turning out. I was going in a similar direction with that front end on my aftermarket scorpion build. What I found is that it's best suited for an Tamiya SRB that doesn't have such a large amount of travel.

Thanks guys!

Lars, hope it end up as nice as your builds, they really set the standard I think!

Shodog, have seen a few pics of your Scorpion, great looking buggy, did you keep the front end on yours or swap it to an SRB?
I considered swapping it to an SRB using an MRP SRB chassis, I still may end up doing this, and using a pair of MRP Scorpion front arms, and MIP caster locks on the Scorpion. Decisions Decisions. If you did put the front end on an SRB any pics?

Dennis, the plan is to use an aftermarket tub I bought from Ron, made by Star, I will see how it looks after stripping with nitro fuel, the paint seems like it will come off fairly easy, if not, will paint it on the outside.

Should have an update next weekend, waiting on some parts from GOMACHV, he made me some repos of parts I sent, can't say enough about him, great guy!

Working on my build have run into another road block, was planning on using pro-line black wheels made for the Sand Scorcher using the CRP rear adaptors.
Too much backspace on the wheels, hit's the shocks, any ideas? Besides find something else? :(

What does the CRP adapter look like? Does it go right on the taper?

They slide onto the taper, here's a pic I stole off of chopshops site.
Think I figured it out, I'm using MRP rear arms and they are different from stock, tried the adapters on stock rear arms and they fit fine.
Also using 10mm shocks may have something to do with it.
I know what Shodog was talking about now, some aftermarket parts don't play well with others
Can be aggravating, I thought this was supposed to be stress relief!

Here´s the shaft I was talking about in the PM'
It has no tapered part but it´s long enough
The arm has 2 different shock mounts.

Yeah that was my next though was a longer shaft with crosspin and a standard tamiya adapter. That setup looks interesting- what is that axle from?

I've seen this pic before and it is misleading. These are just stock discs with an old header? Actual CRP discs are silver and larger diameter (they fit onto the taper just the same). CRP stuff was never black, only silver or gold btw. I will have a pic for you over on my build when I get back to it.

Cool build. This is reminding me to get back to mine.

The axle is from the well renowned Ishipla Monster
