Guys,

Ovet the last couple weeks I've been collecting parts to rebuild a Rockbuster/Grasshopper for my son for his 8th birthday. It's his first hobby grade RC car. He's so happy since now he gets to race around with his big brother who has a Tamiya Sand Viper DT-02.

Sorry for the crummy quality of my cell pic but here they are:

And both boys with their cars:

RC cars are great and it can bring kids and dads together, building and racing. Plus it gets the kids outside, having fun, instead of being glued to their video games or ipods.

I just remember thinking my Grasshopper was SO cool when I was their age. Then I got my RC10s and never looked back to Tamiya again. I'm kind of getting on a kick with them now though. Building the DT-02 with my oldest boy, rebuilding one for my youngest, and building a Wild One for myself.

Dont worry though, my RC-10 collection is safe and my guys will be helping me put together my re-re RC10 when it finely arrives!
