This roll cage conversion looks pretty cool. [$140.00, shipped]
It's drilled for 6-gear or Stealth, and it says you can request anodizing in various colors including "light gold".

Hi
Just a correction; they are paint coated not anodized.

I looked at them and found they would bent totally upon a front crash or even falling on the roof... Not the perfect design. Looks good, but looks very fragile. The should at least include two cross bars in the front (left and right) between the chassis and the nose tubes...

The roll cage is very tough, they are not made of aluminum tubing, but rather solid aluminum 1/4" round bar. Factory front bars are actually made of 3/16" dia. tubing (hollow). The number plate holding the front lower bars together is actually 1/8" thick plate and is welded completely across. Both the lower(main horizontal bar) and upper(roof profile) are each made in one continous bend without weld joints. The chassis is also 1/8" thick plate.
I designed and made them for my RC10 runner, it is both light and strong, but yes if you run it thru a brick wall it will probabbly bend. ;)

im probably gonna have to buy one of the uppers just for my build. The more I think about it, the better its gonna be. the more I look at it, its getting closer to a RC10 Javelin, no.... Javelten, no......Javel10 there we go.

The only thing I wonder about the rollcage is if there is a body that can work with it.

Hi there, so by your location and comments you're the producer of these? I'm not sure if mods will prefer this in a buy/sell area, but I had some questions about the products, colors, can I contact you somehow? What's the best way, email or private message on this forum?

I also had some questions about the Javelin setup you offer.

I prefer a direct method of contact vs a webpage form.

Yes, I dont want to get into trouble by posting in the wrong area, just made a first post to clarify about the coating options to whom started the thread and well there you go... sorry, not intended. Also, I am bascially new here, so I dont have access to the BST area yet.
If you want information just pm me, email me, call me, whatever you like the most. All of our contact information is in our website, etc...

PS: I made a poor & fast(have to look further) search about the possibility of swapping the B4 transmission into the RC10, is this possible? Mine has the 6-gear and it does has a funny wobble on the spur gear(diff).

the 6 gear's hole pattern is unique to itself and some vintage transmissions. The B4 is incompatible as far as I know.

With the re-release of the rc10 coming out, new parts for the original 6 gear are coming out. It might just be easier to rebuild your 6 gear with newer parts to revive it. A new stealth transmission which is more like the B4 but with a different gear ratio and made to go with the rc10 might also be coming out.

dynotech is coming out with a new transmission that is suppose to be compatible with the 6 gear's hole pattern but will use internal parts that are still widely available.
