I was digging through some old stuff today and pulled this model out,
I hadn't put my hands on this one for several years.

Tamiya Toyota PreRunner
- stock TA-01 chassis
- (unknown brand) aluminum wheels

Those were a favorite of mine. The whole TA-01/02 series was awesome

That is nice!! I like that a lot.. The wheels set it of just right and the body looks clean and has just the right details.. Nice Pre-runner..

Agreed. First thought was "Wow!". Really like that.

Man I love the Toyota body. I wish Tamiya would re-release it since they did the F-150 body.

I have an old TA-01 f-150 and woudld love a Toyota body for it.

I have some chassis upgrades for it... just too many projects and too little time.

Well hopefully you can get back on this one soon. My prerunner is my next restore project after I finish my current ones.

I remember the original ad for this in RCCA back in 1994. I ended up getting the Chevy S-10 version for Christmas that year. Went through many iterations of hop-ups and now sits on my shelf as a converted Top Force.
