Another re-release classic build - sort of

Here is my contribution to the re-release of the RC10. Nothing too fancy, but I am taking some liberties on this build as I want to also race the buggy in some vintage races.

Slow going, but this is the start while I wait for some items to arrive....

Started with the steering.

I see an FT turnbuckle as well.

yes, it will be stealthy

FT turnbuckles as well. It will give it some color.

I am liking how it is coming along. Still waiting on some items though.

I am wanting to do CE wide front arms. Not too sure about the shortys on the track. Have you tried them in that situation?

No, my re-re build up went CE right off the bat. Built mine to race, so I also went to AE 12mm big bores. I like how yours is progressing so far, on a very familiar path.

I am going to build a "true" vintage class car on a TQ10 graphite chassis using shortys. I dont think I have ever raced a short arm car :)

Yes, I have reviewed your thread and I love what you have done with your classic re-release build. I would love to throw some big bores on my build as well. We shall see if I can procure some.

I too want to build up a true classic car with the shorty arms as well and plan to do that here soon as well. Can't wait! I am anxious to see how both builds will do on the track.

I have made some progress on the front end...

Another change is the use of the wide arms for this build.

That is really nice! I love the simple paint scheme yet very pleasing on the eyes! Can't wait to see more.

I think that they are ok. It feels like there is a slight play in it though. Not much. Why do you ask?
