RC10Talk - The Net's Largest Vintage R/C Community

So last Saturday (Nov 9th) My local Off Road club (Silverstone Radio Control Model Car Club) held the second round of their winter series & was amazed at the number of top drivers that I ended up racing against. The club normally attracts one or two of the top UK drivers even on a weekday evening club meet, but the number of racers that are capable of finishing in the top-10 at a national meeting (& a couple at a 'worlds') was unprecedented!

Was great to watch these drivers run & see how they do it & it was cool to see my name on the same qualifying list (& not too far down) in 21st!

Lee Martin is the top driver in the UK at this moment (but not at this particular meeting) - his car waiting for its final run in the 'A'

love the track .. its nice to race off road and not be covered in dirt lol

Cool video. Watching British indoor offroad, is like watching F1 for some reason to me. I guess the speed through the corners (and everywhere else too ) and the low slung stance of the buggies.
