I've fixed the images. This truck will likely be a runner unless I'm told it's condition is too good and should be preserved in the hands of a real collector. I also have original tires like new, the manual, 1/8 of the sticker sheet. It has a Speedworks 350 and a Novak T-4. The tires shown in the pics are vintage Proline Strikers. I'll try to get some more pics up too

I found a post on Craigslist for the JRXT and the clod. haggled with the guy over email and it turned out to be my buddy from a previous job! So he sold me both the JRXT and the Clod (both RTR with vintage electronics) for $50. He knew what he had for sure. The clod has dual ESC's and Trinity matched monster motors.

Thanks! Yea the Clod was what I was actually going for, then the JRXT was a bonus. What I'm really after now is an RC10 Graphite. Back in the day I could never afford/convince the parents I should own one. I did have a Lunchbox that I built and enjoyed back in 7th grade..
What's the general sentiment from collectors of vintage Losi? Is a JRXT in this condition worth keeping in this condition? Even though it would be super fun, I'd hate to beat on one that should just be delegated to shelf life. Know what I mean?

I can't help but run most of my stuff, especially my Losi stuff.
But that JRXT is in great shape, just looks like it needs a cleaning to be shelf worthy.

I think that jrxt is in excellent condition. The fact it was raced on carpet saved the bottom of the chassis. If you do decide to run it, you should:
* make a front skid plate to protect the bottom of the bumper/body mount
* use some type of adhesive film for the chassis to protect it
* convert to the h-arms...so you can save the 5 link (much easier to find replacement h-arms)
* use different wheels. orange wheels in good condition are getting expensive.
From a losi collector's standpoint, the jrxt is the first true race truck. Before then, there were just truck conversions. It's based on the x2, but the fact that the factory designed it to be a truck (longer chassis, front shocks and wheels/tires) gives it a place in RC history.
Regards,
Roger

I picked up a LXT dahms pathfinder body off ebay a few years ago that was painted/stickered identical to the Jrxt body.

What about a trade? Anyone have an RC10 they'd trade for this JRXT?
