Shelf queen shocks

Quick question, I am putting the finishing touches on my first fully completed project. When you build a shelter do you put oil in the shocks? I am leaning towards yes so nothing dries out. I know I read something about it before but I can't seem to find it now.
Thanks,

HI!... I've got over 60 shelf queens and I run oil in all there shocks. No issues. Just make sure you set the car on a pedestal or some how keep the wheels off the ground or you will get flat spots on the tires and the shock springs will get lazy.

Thank you, I Iike to use old tires to prop up the cars, gives it a kinda of pit row feel.

Yeah, this question has been brought up from time to time in the past. If I remember right, many don't fill the shocks as it's unnecessary of course. What you do is coat the o-rings with something like Associated green slime and you'll be good to go.

Yea, but when you take your queen off the shelf and, like any racer, test the shocks, It's just not the same! Got to have oil in all of mine!
