Nice clean lines, good masking job...did you use tape or liquid mask? And what's with the colors matching your forum avatar? Just wondering what that's from. Good job with the airbrush! 8)

Thanks for the kind words! I used tape to mask. And the colors are based off of a Benetton b188 f1 car. I just like the color scheme. My b3 is painted just like the f1 car, and I tried to make this one look like a vintage version of my b3. Hopefully just as easy to spot on the track!

Ahh...didn't Volkswagen paint a Rabbit or something in that color combo? Each door, quarter panel, hood, etc. was painted a different color. Well, your RC10 body looks better than that VW...I actually saw one this summer. What a gawdawful ugly car that VW was!

EDIT: Sorry, t'was a Golf. See for yourself...

I like it. Bright and bold. The golfs were called "Harlequin" . You don't have to worry about seeing them they only made 264 of them for the states.

I remember those, i heard that they didn't sell all of the remaining stock and had them reprinted to a single color. So there are actually quite a few single color harlequins

I actually have my B3's wheels painted to look just like that, that's a B186. They only did the colored tires for the US grand prix unfortunately. Maybe my next body will have the color streaked on white like that one
