in an unrealistic world... it would be cool if we could all get together and have a build off. start with a nib (vintage) rc10 and see who could build it the fastest and have judges rate it based on how well it was assembled and how much care was taken while assembling, etc. Anyways, I'll reserve the javitts center when i hit the lotto... and supply the rc10s i guess too!  nice to dream

Cool idea. I too have thoughts of "What to do if I hit the Lotto". It involves a lot of RC stuff.

It would be cool though to set a day next year and a place for everyone to get together somewhere. I know, unrealistic. But that would be fun.

ya, that idea has come up before. and yes, it'd be very hard to get everyone together. i had thoughts of maybe being able to break it down into a tri-state area kinda thing. for example. one of my lhs's has a very nice off-road track. i'd try and setup some sort of track day, or talk to the shop about setting up a vintage race. then try to get as many members around my location to come on out. there's quite a few members on here from the pa, ny area. so, i think we could have a pretty good turn out. now if we did this same kind of idea everywhere, on the same day, it be pretty cool. then we could all share our pics and stories, etc...............

just a thought i had.

I could travel to Pa. I have not been to WV in a while, I could make a weekend trip of it. Or leave Pa and head to Chicago to see the in-laws. You name the time and place, I'll do what I can to be there.

Tell ya what, you haul your butt out to California and I'll supply the beer when you get here. It'll be a "run what ya brung" event. Remember, your rc10 might be faster than my clod, but my clod can jump the pipes and catch you in the chicane! :P

I just need a couple weeks notice to make sure I've got enough home brew made up. From the looks of your physique (Vera), it looks like you could put a few away! :P
