hi, so I recently bought a traxxas xl5 speed control and reedy radon motor to run in my basher. I heard it could work with a futaba R102JE receiver and a magnum sport radio. it worked for the first minute or two when I set it up so I set it aside to install later. I have now gone back to install it but it no longer works just flashes green and does not respond. I am not familiar with this esc so I thought id ask for help on here. I also checked to make sure it was a fully charged battery. any help or advice would be appreciated. thank you

Probably on LIPO mode and you are probably using a NIMH battery. Follow instructions and program your XL5 to NIMH mode!

I followed those steps exactly several times with it in nimh mode and it didn't work but I tried it on a different receiver and it worked perfectly. So it wasn't the esc but the receiver but this happens with older electronics.
