Does any one do or know if anyone who can do QUALITY anodizing for an rc10 chassis parts set for a reasonable price?

Nope! Quality and good pricing do not go hand in hand. There is a ton of labor that goes into a good finish, and labor is expensive. My anno guy is cheap but they don't even look at the run, its my responsibility to clean and polish and whatever else to make the metal right. Cheap isn't good and good isn't cheap

I just want to send it out and have it done RIGHT. What can expect to spend and who can I trust to do just that??

Does it need to be stripped first? If so, plan to send it out, and once it's stripped either pay them to polish it or have them send it back so you can, then they can get to the anno. If you strip and polish before you send out it will save a lot of time and a little money.

Easy off oven cleaner I am told works well. Personally I have the anodizer do it, runs $20 for a whole load. Unless you have one close by tho it will be easier to just do it first. The better you can polish the metal the shinier the anno will be. If it's old metal and scratched up don't do the bright dip as it will highlight problem areas. If it's fresh metal, eg a classic kit, then a bright dip will make the finish look almost wet. On the classic shock bodies I have they almost appear to be leaking oil they are so shiny

HI!... Greased Lightning also takes off anodizing.

Sodium Hydroxide (lye) is the stuff in EO that removes anodizing.

Other brands of oven cleaners should work too, or you can try drain cleaners mixed with water.

i have tried those that are available here but to no avail... wish those can be shipped via mail so that I could remove annod on my stuff....

You can also buy straight lye from gardening/home improvement shops and mix with water.

It is new metal from classic kit want to do black i guess i cld try some of these products gomach r u saying that u do anodizing?

No, but I do have a shop that is local to me and they do a good job on the cheap. If you are working with classic parts you don't need to go thru all the polishing and cleanup steps, I would just talk to an anodizer and have them strip and anno. The shop I use would charge $60 total ($20 strip and $40 anno) plus shipping. If you did a bright dip it adds $30.
