Just arrived!

Truck body is a bit rough, but the oval body looks pretty cool

I couldn't resist charging up a nicd as soon as I got it out of the box. I threw in a 2.4ghz receiver and had some fun in my living room.
What chassis is this? Compositecraft?
I'm gonna tear it down and clean it up when I get a chance this weekend.

Was watching that one but didn't bid.

The Houge chassis isn't espescially rare or valuable, is it? I think I'm gonna cut it up for a 10T project.

Please don't do that. :P

The Houge Chassis was designed to use Houge's rear trailing arm suspension, and it pre-dated the 10T by several years. It'd be a shame to cut it to build a 10T, but a monster truck conversion (Andy's, Proline, or JG) with heavy offset wheels wouldn't be inappropriate.

Also the wheelbase would be too short for a stadium truck....you'd need an Andy's or JG truck chassis for the longer wheelbase.

The wheelbase is why I was going to cut it, so I could bolt on the front kickup from a t. But I guess I'll save it for later instead, if I ever find some trailing arms

yeah, definitely don't cut it....you can trade or sell the chassis and pick up another standard chassis pretty easily.
