So after years of searching I finally found one of these rare birds. Does anyone know how limited this edition was and perhaps also remember the release year?

I've got the same...mine is for a cat xls...so around the same time? Late 80?

limited to how many they could sell? they where very $$$$ at the time i have a nib one here and it says 14500 yen on it
i'm wondering if the 87 part means the year i know Masamis cat had one in it when he won the 87 worlds?
