Hi all, I'm trying to find the thread that talked about the Spektrum-compatible Rx's from other companies. Can anyone point me in the right direction please and thanks?

I run little yellow recievers from hobbpartz or hobbyking. Had great luck with them, dsm2 and running them with a dxr3

Thanks! I'll have to look into those. They'll work with a Spektrum Pro equipped 3PK as well I take it...?

I am pretty sure the 3pk pro module is dsm1.

yep, be very careful...I bit hard and have useless items now :(

I bought the DSM2 hack kit and a few of the OrangeRX ground receivers, only to find out the hack kit is for DSM2 air, not ground.

All the older Spektrum modules are DSM1, they will not work with the OrangeRX ground recievers.

I will eventually order some of the OrangeRX air receivers to work with my hack kit, but am very disappointed there is nothing that points out they are incompatible with ground.

Sorry to necro and it's probably a moot point now but those Orange RXs from Hobbyking work great. I ordered 6. One was DOA but a small price to pay. Took awhile to get them but totally worth it.

Same for me, I only have a few sitting here but I can't use them yet. Time will change that, and more money... hehe.

So, with all of the options out there, am I safe to assume that there aren't any cheaper DSM1 alternatives out there...?

Anybody know of any dsm comparable receivers? The orange rx receivers aren't backworxs comparable with dsm, are they?
