Works Rear Inner Hingepins

So, i've got a box of bits which will enable me to 'almost' put together a Works '91ish car! It won't be pretty, and will be going nowhere near a shelf, but as the plan is to run it that doesn't really matter. The only thing i'm struggling with is a missing rear inner hinge pin. I was wondering if there were any that people had used from other models and/or brands as replacements that they could point me in the direction of? The one good one i have that fits is 38mm long, secured at both ends by circlips.
Any assistance appreciated as usual.
Tim

Since the '91 Works is based on the 870C platform, you should be able to use YR4 hingepins, which are based on the same platform. The only exception I think would be the '93 Works, which uses longer hinge pins to fit a turnbuckle at the end.

I have also used 3mm shock shafts. You can either cut the threaded portion off or use it to mount the tie-rod between the hinge pins.

If you are looking to put the tie rods like on the Works 93 you can use the OFNA 3mm pins part# 36170.. They are longer than the 870c hinge pins and allow the turnbuckle to be put on.. I have then and did a mock up for my 870C/yz10 I am getting parts to build.. It looks cool and helps with wear by tightening up the hinge pins from wiggling around.. The OFNA part also comes with C-clips.. I just used 1.25" Associated (#6261 steel) turnbuckles with ball ends I had that are similar to the Yoke parts for the control arm turnbuckles.. This may be an option if you are going with a 91-ish build and want another option.. JustJoe did this and I liked it.. Here is the topic: JustJoe 870C..

Thanks for the replies guys. I do like the idea of the longer OFNA pins with the ball ends and turnbuckles. Thanks for posting the link to JustJoe's build Shaun, it does look good and the parts should be easy to source.

No problem.. I think I paid like $7USD shipped for mine.. Way cheaper than finding actual Works 93 hinge pins.. I saw a set go for like $60USD.. But hey to each their own and since this is going to be a runner for me, I figure finding a cheaper source would be better.. Damn Yoke parts are expensive!! Too bad I just love them..
