Or actually I'm just out side Austin in the old town in Texas, Bastrop.

A strange web I have woven to get here, I fell in love with RC back in 1977-78 with the Tamiya's but they were way to expensive for me back then, so it wasn't until I had my own place 1986-87, that right down the street from me was an or Kroger grocery store converted to an indoor RC dirt track with a hobby shop and repair/paint center in the back.

I bought a Super Champ and started to race, but was slaughtered by the new RC10, Kyosho Turbo Optima, and so forth.

So enter a few years ago things changed and I now have my own back yard track, and a collection that keeps growing.

I would up here because of the extensive info I have been finding plus the bounus of a Schumacher section all in the same page, BECAUSE.......

For $100 I wound up with these time capsules from a guy that he (RC10) and his dad (CAT XLS) used to race together, then one day they just stopped, closed up the pit boxes and went home, and that was that, and now I own all of it.

The reason they stopped was most likely because that was the day the Dad lost to the son:)

Great Collection!

Howdy from Houston! I'm jealous of that pink pan car.

Don't be jealous you know that's going to be a LOT of work getting that pan all cleaned up, when I think about it I cringe, LOL

Another one that I bought strictly for a shelf queen is this 1/10 nitro Kyosho Porsche Turbo 911 that needs to be cleaned up and displayed:

I have quite a few more but none of them are vintage:

Perelli World Challenge Mustang build:

Baja Blitz 4400kv

Raptor Blitz 5700kv

WRC Cosworth Escort, one is box stock the other is 4400kv and some doodad's

Image

SCX10 3300kv and a bunch of doodad's

Image

Wheelie King, converted to a Crawler King, gear reduction box, and 35t Integy, wife likes to drive this

Traxxas Bandit, box stock on LiPo

Other than two unknown nitro chassis, an Evader truggie, and an EMAXX that pretty much sums up the fleet :)

Then there is the proving grounds for all the off road vehicles, this is both the track and the rock course:
