Well, another weirdo 1/12th car, I've already stripped it, but here's the auction, and before disassembly pics. :

For a simple car the wiring got sort of overcomplicated. No worries, it'll all clean up nice.

I'm sure it will, especially with a sharpie

Have you thought about drilling some holes in it to make it lighter?

No, but the previous owner must have.

Actually the front bumper holes are factory.

^^^^J/K Is this after you've cleaned it up? If so it looks awesome.

Sorry, no that's not mine... I "borrowed" the picture from [CAUTION GERMAN CONTENT]:

My particular car is a bit different in some of the details, and is sort of a bitsa. The joys of standardised 1/12th screw spacings...

As soon as I shovel myself out to the shop I'll get some progress pics.
Here's a tasty bottom side shot I neglected to put up:

Awesome step-by-step restore mate just what I like to see.
BTW nice MSC tray replacement. Did you repalce the original because it had glue and residue stuck to it? If that's just the case and you want to save things like that in the future, a soak in acetone will remove the glue and then the part can be lightly polished with sand paper. It will look as new again. I have saved many parts like this.
You probably know that though but it might help someone...

I didn't reuse the old msc tray because of the several extra holes (and having a few nib...). I've already given it a home in the plastic scraps box.

I'm not one for tossing parts that may have a further use in life.
I wonder why acetone does not break down the epoxies in the grp or cf?

I am glad you're not and thought you might know this one already for sure...
I wondered about the acetone glue thing before, maybe it's down to how long you leave them in for and/or surface area?
It's a strange one isn't it, but a good one....
Painted RC10T towers before
RC10T towers after (forgive my camera skills these parts look like new)
