the chassis is in great shape no extra holes. painted body looks like it can be stripped very easy since its flaking off. also has a&l steering cranks. added a traxxas steering servo. will clean up and repaint soon.

need to replace a few ball ends since their are some rc10 ones, also the frt tires are team losi, but will be leaving them since nothing is wrong with them.

Nice find! Car looks to be pretty much all original and in good condition.

Was this an ebay purchase? Car looks very familiar for some reason.

ya its in the ebay section also won it like a week ago.

won some traxxas ball ends off ebay and stripped and repainted the wing, body is now being stripped.

well it seams the white paint was model paint cause it came right off, but the red/orange paint seams to be r/c paint and is not comming off. so it looks like i will just be putting down a fresh coat of white and leaving the red/orange paint i know tbg makes a new body, but i really dont wanna spend $40 for a new body plus i think this style of paint job is growing on me lol. will post up some pics once its all done.

well here it is. well i would like to touch up the redish orange color but i have no idea what it is and nothing matches up it kinda has a neon color to it.

any help on this color would help me out so i can get this car done

What do you plan on doing with this running it or putting it on a shelf?

Very cool, looks to be pretty much org. And complete. Makes me wish I would get started on my Trx1 project (its still sitting as I got it off eBay.... )

What color is it backed with? Looks similar to Pactra fluorescent orange.

backed with white.

If there's a repro body for that, that paint job would be quite simple to duplicate with liquid mask and freehanding it with an X-Acto blade. That would probably be easier than trying to match colors doing a touch-up job.

tbg makes one but really dont wanna spend $40 if i can buy a $4 jar of paint. went on ebay for some reason pactra flor orange has 2 different #'s?? rc78 and rc5416 but all say the same color paint???? guess one is older than the other?
