Just as the title says, anyone know how many RC10 Classic kits were produced?

i have read somewere 5000 unit were produced (kit) but that the main production was for parts... word on the street ...

Thanks. I'm glad I got mine because I didn't believe The Team would go through
the effort and expense to re-tool the RC10 to sell a few thousand kits.
