Ive done some searching And cannot find a for sure answer on what newer slipper clutch and top shaft will fit the stealth tranny. I have the one with the pin that the spur gets screwed in. i hate these screws and dont want them any more. So to update it. I know i need the flat shaft one. What car is that out of? B4, B44, Rc10t4.1????? I only ever here very short reference to what it is. I dont want to waste money on the wrong one.

I have a b4 flat side top shaft in my a gold buggy stealth conv, pros two sided slipper, spur change WO changing slip peer setting, ease of finding spurs. Con b4 dust over only lines w one bolt hole, top shaft too long to fit inside original. I cut the access plug and run w a piece of masking tape till I find a better way?

may then have to then use shorter spring, I opted to use shaft as is. its possible that the longer spring may function better, smoother? did u mean plug? if so its on the side of dust cover. allows slipper adj wo dust cover removal

or if you use the b4 cover, you will need to punch a new hole into your plate. just as we did before, before the worlds car came up.

New style VTS slipper also works once you've done the B4 topshaft conversion

There is a thread in the tech section for this conversion.

I've converted all my stealths to the B4 or VTS slipper aside from my 6-gears. also did this to a rustler vxl :)

the asc7486 slipper spring works on both B4 and VTS slippers.
