I know I am probably the only person in the United States sad to see it go. I work at an accounting firm from January 1st to April 15th and enjoy every second of it. Tomorrow's my last day for this year. Only 4-6 years until I can become an accountant! Then, hopefully a CPA.

Yup I think your the only one. Before switching careers 8 years ago I worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers where I managed records centers. I ran day to day operations in my local office and was in charge of 17 other offices in the West region. Tax busy season was the busiest season we had. We would have to run 12 hour shifts in each office. The only upside is that dinner was catered every night so you're always guaranteed a meal. I don't necessarily miss those days

I'll miss honking at the guy in the statue of liberty suit out in front of Liberty Tax Service on my way home. I'd always give a couple honks and he'd always throw me the peace sign. My wife would ask me why I did it when she was in the car with me, to which I'd reply "So that he knows somebody cares damnit!".
