Advice on a Clod Project

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anybody has seen one of these before:

Image

I bought it some time ago, off of where else, but Ebay, and keep wanting to get it running, but never know where to start.

Some things are a little out of whack, but I think with some tinkering, it could be made to work.

It sure seems completely homemade, yet the craftsmanship is pretty darn good.

Another question I have, is what can I use for the front wheels? They are obviously Clod parts, front and back.

Any input would be appreciated.

Scott

you should be able to use any wheel with a 12mm hex, as long as it'll clear the hub.

a on road beam axle would look pretty nice, and might give more choices on the wheels

loks cool but I don't think you'll get much speed out of it. I have a clod based 4x4 with 2.2 wheels. It's got lots of torque but no speed and I can't put a larger pinion gear. The motor adapters only allow to reduce the gear size I think.

No help from me I'm afraid , as I don't know the clod or this sort of thing. But I have to say that car looks so awesome! 8) Can't wait to see it finished.

Finally getting around to doing something with that? I remember when that was up on ebay. It looks great.

Hope you are enjoying the cold (it's supposed to break records here today... 75+)
