Where did the front arms come from? I don't recognize them.

those arms came off a badboys sprint car I had long ago... Wish I knew who made them. I thought they matched the rears so I through them on.

I think SCollins makes his a little too short.
Mine is Shortened by 5/8ths of an inch which puts the wheelbase at 9 7/8ths inches for the A&L rear suspension when all arms are level. This makes it just a touch long but I think it is better for it. Just my opinion...

well had to cut another goldpan screwed up bigtime shortening the front of the other first pics. Thanks to the storm that came thru the weekend had some time to finish mocking things up,still waiting on the bearings, cvd's and now i'm gonna need a custom 7 cell battery(never did this) so i can use the servo in the center front also started cuttin up the body but my nerves were shot so i stopped before i cut too much! but wheelbase looks decent now if only i knew what shoks these were and if a rebuild kit is available

the shocks look like early losi, today's shock cartridges should work fine.
love the split window VWs, almost bought one a few years back.

what if you used a truck noseplate/bulkhead and attached the narrow front arms, would that suck the front tires under the body? then just realign the rear swing arms & figure out what dogbones to use for the "narrow" rear end.
