On hard, polished floor the b4 will have a hard time finding grip no matter what setup you put on it. As far as carpet goes, I would start with a high traction setup from rc10.com. I think the tire of choice would be some sort of really low pin.

Here is a really good guide that shows what each setup change does.

Want traction on a polished floor? Install a 380 motor out of an old Tamiya Grasshopper. :P

We used to race indoor carpet with some sections containing smooth surfaces.
Schumacher mini pins in yellow compound work great on the carpet and were good on the slick sections. Blue compound still has good grip on carpet but very little on smooth surface. Blue's last longer but aren't as good "all around" as the yellow's.

Dependant on the sizes of your jumps you could also put internal limiters in the shocks to reduce body roll. If you've got small jumps then you can put more limitiers in.

Plenty of suitable indoor setups on Petitrc http://www.petitrc.com/setup/associated/SetupSheetsAssociatedRC10B4.html

Usually Schumacher yellow minipins on the rear with yellow staggers/cut staggers or minipins on the front to balance it.
For only polished wood with no carpet then Schumacher yellow full spikes all round, or if you can get away with it bald tyres coated in silicone sealant will make it stick. Used to race 1/12th on polished wood with silicone coated foams and never had a problem with traction.

do any of the DBoots tires work on carpet?
Or how about the new Proline Pin Point tires?

We don't run bare floors here, no idea why, I think hall owners are scared of potential damage.
But we do run on ozite.
