42 years old and dusting all of my old stuff off. First RC was a Frog, and i loved it. Optima was next followed by a Team Losi. Switched to carpet tracks and went on from there. Our cars were always built from from spares we found around. I remember going dumpster diving as a kid for circuit boards so we could cut our own chassis for experiments. Fast forward a lot of years and I can afford to buy some of the things I always wanted, including my first RC 10 two years ago. I came to NC from RI, and am having a tough time finding anyone else who has anything but Traxxas, although I find more all the time. There are a lot of treasures around here I find though. I probably have 30 plus cars in my messy garage! Hope to get more! My wife is very understanding! She says at least I'm not hooked on drugs! LOL. Thanks for having me!

I live in Charlotte also. I regularly race at The Grove, which is the track behind The Hobby Stop in Rock Hill SC. If you are interested in running off-road check it out. They are on exit 77 on RTE 77.

I personally have a bunch of AE race vehicles and numerous types of bashers. I have two gold pans I'm in the slow process of restoring, which I why I'm hanging out here.
