So I had asked about a slipper clutch, and I'm still working on that one, but this is what I have so far.
I'll call it a Junior X22 Pro.
I took a Losi Junior 2 chassis, Jrx2 LRM transmission and shock towers, H-arm rear arms, Losi 22 front suspension, 12mm hex rears to use modern tires, JRX-Pro steering and a unique solution for the front brace. The front shocks were aftermarket shocks I had from an Oval conversion I had a few years back. The front shock tower was a broken one I had lieing around so I retapped and ground it down.
PS ignore the bad paint job. I let my 6 year old paint it. LOL I plan to race it in 2wd open and eventually turn it over to my 6 year old as he gets better.
The front suspension was actually pretty easy. I just had to redrill the front bulkhead with a 3mm bit.

I can actually tighten or loosen the links and can flex the chassis +/-5 degrees

I would think that you can find a hydra slipper shaft relatively easily, then you can fit a b4 slipper with the right spacer and such.
as for wing wire and mounts, other than the cool losi quick-turn ones, you can use any pan car or even the rc10 nylon ones and get them pretty cheap. a length of music wire from the hobby shop from .050 to .080" range should give you plenty of wire to try to bend up for like a buck.

I've swapped wings between my RC10s and JRX2s with no issues. Same width and such. Just another option if you have an RC10 racer, you can 'borrow' parts
Slipper - who needs that, just be smooth on the throttle (I am kidding, I am the killer of LRM non-slipper trans)

Added the pictures of the, mostly, finished product.

Is that just 22 arms on a JRX bulkhead? How's the overall width?

Yes and I didn't measure the overall width.
I knew I missed something...
I didn't check the dimensions to make sure it fits in the box. I'll check tonight.
I know the arms are a little wider than JRX2 arms.
If push comes to shove...maybe I'll try and fab a new front bulkhead similar to the Hot Trick front bulkhead from bitd

If it comes in too wide you can always try using 4wd front wheels with their greater offset.

These fronts are zero offset already. Does the 22 share the same offset as the 4wd?

I don't know.

So the tires I have will provide the narrowest track, but after measuring I'm sitting at 10.25"....gotta shave it down a bit

I'm going to make something out of 1/4" square tubing to narrow up the front. I'm not worried about adding weight to the front end because I always had to add weight to the front ends of the JRX line anyway.
