World shock body hole poorly made

Once the shock bottom cap is tightened the shaft is so misaligned it won't move!
Anyone else run into this?

That sucks! So it is the body that isn't drilled correctly and not the shock cap?

If I remember correctly, Adam "flipwils11" knows how to correct shock body problems

I sent AE the video and they said they would ship me a new one. Nick was the guy I got and he was very helpfull.

It took me a while to loosen the grip on the end of my shaft after trying to slide it in and out of that tight hole but I managed to let go long enough to upload the video to youtube for those non FB people.

Simple, just remove the shock shaft and orings, run a drill bit thru it, wobbling side to side to clearance it, then reassemble. That's how the (eBay) pros do it

That's probably one of the first shock bodies I have seen misbuilt. Usually for me it's a non threaded shock shaft
Associated will send the new on in no time. You won't know it's coming but they ship lightning fast
