Hey all,
Don here, go by Ranter. I live up in the Colorado Rockies near Black Hawk. Gotten back into the hobby the last couple years after a 25 year absence and feel like I'm almost up to speed. My boy and I have built a good sized off-road track on our property(2 acres) and we're having a blast running it and keep trying to improve it. As far as RC cars. Right now I'm running a Traxxas Slash 2wd with mods and the boy has the same. Went digging into my garage and found a few of my older RC's. I love gold pans, something about them just makes me feel like a kid.
My RC inventory...
RC10 Gold "A" Stamp in pretty good shape(near future resto) and the reason I joined this forum.
RC10 Stealth Black roller...(My future vintage racer).
RC10 B3.1 and B4.1
Losi XXX-CR Brian Kinwald Edition
HPI Savage Flux XS
Team Associated SC10 2wd ...(Almost finished, would like to race this one for fun)
Just picked up an OFNA TS4 Pro 80% roller for 130 bucks and can't wait to build this one.
My Racing Team (consisting of my son and I) is Sinister Minister Racing. We've yet to race
Just want to say I'm digg'n this site. You folks seem cool, and there is a ton of info on these classic RC10's that I'll be dissecting.
